Crosby Arboretum native plant sale set for Oct. 21-22
PICAYUNE, Miss. -- Gardeners can purchase hard-to-find native plants during the Crosby Arboretum’s popular Fall Native Plant Sale.
The semiannual sale will be Oct. 21 and 22 at the arboretum. It begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m. Arboretum members can enter at 9 a.m. Admission is free.
Various native trees, shrubs and perennials will be available for purchase, including pawpaw, fringetree, pink buckwheat tree, starbush and much more. A complete list of plants in the sale will be posted on the arboretum’s website at http://crosbyarboretum.msstate.edu/ and on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/CrosbyArboretum.
Knowledgeable staff and Mississippi Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions.
