Want to learn more about managing habitat on your property for wild turkey, bobwhite quail, or other wildlife? If so, join us for an intensive half-day workshop on gamebird habitat management. The event will include multiple presentations on managing habitat and tips and tools for accomplishing your management goals. The event will also include a tour of well-managed sites and a prescribed fire demonstration if conditions are appropriate.

A second event will be held on the evening prior, February 23, this event will be a Gamebird Science Social: Bird Talk with the Biologist. This will be a fun and engaging event including a social, raffles, and a panel discussion with biologists. The state quail and turkey coordinators will also provide an update on populations for 2024.
