Welcome to Extension for Real Life, a new blog from the Mississippi State University Extension Service! We want to provide up-to-the-minute news, helpful tips, and fun facts. Stuff that is good to know, nice to know, fun to know, or that you need to know. 

We also hope to share with you a behind-the-scenes look at some of the people who are working hard across the state to make their communities stronger. 

I’m Keri Lewis, one of the three people primarily responsible for creating blog content. My colleagues Susan Collins-Smith and Ellen Graves will also post to the blog, and we’ll share photos and information from Extension agents and specialists. We rely heavily on our Ag Comm colleagues to create gorgeous graphics, enviable video, and picture-perfect photos to make our words more interesting.
