Most people who are interested in horses are aware of breed associations such as the American Quarter Horse.  However there are color registries, too, such as the Pinto Horse Association who register equids of all types….stock, pleasure, miniatures, and even mules and more.  On this episode of TTR, we talk to the Executive Vice-President and COO of the Pinto Horse Association, Darrel Bilke.  Darrel is a long-time friend and fellow judge who has been at the helm of PtHA for 20 years.  He has transformed the association into an entity that attracts a variation in type of horse, while at the same time creates a competitive yet family-friendly showing environment.  He explains the uniqueness of the Pinto horse, his climb to the top of the association, and his experiences within the horse show world.  If you are involved with horses, you will come away with more insight and knowledge of all things horses!
