Daniel, Jason, and Tom discuss some of the histories of fall-applied burndown treatments and then tackle the issue of designing burndown treatments and programs in a climate of increasing herbicide prices and product shortages. 

Corey Bryant visits the Crop Doctors’ Podcast studio in Stoneville to talk about his new position at DREC.  Corey is a Mississippi State graduate and recently started a new job working in agronomy and soil fertility in Stoneville.  Corey talks about his background as well as some of the projects he’d like to work on in the future.

Trent Irby calls into the Crop Doctors’ Podcast studio in Stoneville to talk about things to think about when making soybean variety selection decisions.  Trent, Jason, and Tom discuss the different types of variety trial information (small-plot and on-farm), data to focus on (yield, disease susceptibility) when making variety decisions, how to handle the location information, and where to find information on soybean varieties in Mississippi.
