Two-day floral workshop to teach wedding design
BILOXI, Miss. -- Professional florists and others who want to begin or expand businesses can learn about wedding floral design during an upcoming two-day workshop.
Jim DelPrince, floral specialist with the Mississippi State University Extension Service, will conduct the Wedding Floral Design Workshop Jan. 30 and 31 in Biloxi.
The workshop will be held at the MSU Coastal Research and Extension Center located at 1815 Popps Ferry Road. It begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m. both days. Registration costs $150 per person and includes all materials and lunch. Seating is limited.
Topics include care and handling techniques, productive and efficient floral consultations, and design techniques for centerpieces, altar arrangements, and flowers to carry and wear.
