Adult Programs
When Your Income Drops -Tools for financial management for times when income is reduced.
Healthy, Wealthy and Wise Program - Designed to motivate adults to improve financial health and increase wealth by reducing debt, increasing savings and gaining confidence in the ability to make wise financial decisions.
Baby Boomers Come of Age - Four-session program addressing finances, balancing work and family, lifestyles, and relationships

Basic Budgeting - Successful money management requires careful planning and self-discipline. In most cases the art of budgeting has to be learned, developed, and practiced on a daily basis.
Child Care As A Business - Topics covered in this program are: basic business startup, government regulations, financial recordkeeping, advertising, marketing, profit, facilities, equipment, health, safety, parent relations, and child development.

Crash Course Credit - What's in your credit report
Credit: American Dream or Nightmare - Credit is a privilege that can make dreams come true. It also can be a nightmare if it is not used wisely. Take the time now to learn how to make credit work for you.
Estate Planning - Estate planning is the process of arranging your affairs to meet your wishes regarding the use, conservation, and disposal of your property or assets. A good plan can provide financial security for family members, save thousands of dollars in death taxes and estate-settlement costs, and protect family members from bitter quarrels.
Financial Fitness - Financial fitness begins with a good plan. Learn how to set goals, calculate living expenses, and balance income with expenses. Financial Security for Later Life (national initiative) - Variety of resources targeting retired and elderly individuals
Home Buyer Education - Partner with other agencies to prepare families for homeownership decisions
Household Recordkeeping - Sooner or later everyone needs to locate valuable papers and records. An accurate and current household filing system can save you time and effort. It is a valuable tool for tax purposes, net worth, monitoring financial programs, planning for the future, proof of ownership, and preparations for retirement. How long do I keep records? Where do I keep them? These questions and more will be covered. This program may be adapted from a thirty-minutes to a two hour program.

Investing for Your Future (national initiative) - Basic investment series (middle income)
Investment Clubs - Local volunteer clubs organized around principles of wise long-term investing

Money & You - Tri-State extension money management curriculum.. This in-depth study is divided into eight lessons complete with handouts and learning activities. (limited income)
Money Matters - A four-session short course on basic money management. Learn the value of money, decision-making, recordkeeping, managing credit, and building security.
Money Smart - 10 module series on financial literacy (limited to middle income families)
Money Traps That Keep You Broke - This program addresses advantages and consequences of using ten high cost money traps marketed to families who are not used to dealing with banks.
Personal Financial Management Course - This 3-hour classroom based course meets the legal requirements for personal finance education for anyone who has filed Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy in the State of Mississippi.
PowerPay - Debt Reduction Program - Debt reduction software helps debtors determine best way to reduce debt burden
Problem Gamblers & Their Finances - Personal Strategies for loved ones of problem gamblers
USDA Rural Development Home Buyer Education - Mississippi State University Extension Service Family Resource Management Area Agents are now offering a 4-hour Home Buyer Education Course that meets the requirements for first time home buyer applicants applying for USDA Rural Development Loans. The cost of the program is $40 per individual or married couple.
Volunteer Money Mentor Program - Volunteer Money Mentors help share Extension's money management educational initiative with families, particularly those with limited incomes. Volunteers work under the direction of local Extension Educators responsible for money management. For more information, see the Volunteer Money Mentor brochure and the application form.
Welcome to the Real World - This is a life skills activity in which students research the job they are most interested in, finding out about educational requirements, entry-level salary and lifetime opportunities. The target program is ages thirteen to eighteen.
Who Gets Grandma's Yellow Pie Plate - A personal guide for passing on personal belongingings (non-titled property)

Cash Tracks - 3rd to 5th grade curriculum on origin of money and basic money management.
Chuck Taylor - Teenager named Chuck learns the ins and outs of the world of money and economics.
Financial Champions - This program is for 6th - 9th graders. It teaches money management principles as youth learn about various vocations and occupations.
4-H Consumer Judging - Conduct 4-H contest at Project Achievement Day and Club Congress. Provide training to leaders for this contest.
High School Financial Planning Program - Six-unit personal finance curriculum designed for 10th -12th grades. Available to teachers, schools and 4-H groups.
Money Math - This program is for 7th and 8th grade students. It teaches money principles while giving practical experiences in Algebra and problem solving.
Money on the Bookshelf - Pre-school and elementary level books about money, plus parent guides for each book designed to teach parent methods of training their children in wise money management.
Welcome To The Real World - Interactive high school program designed to teach youth budgeting skills.
