Greetings 4-H Family,

Friday night football and cooler temperatures means fall is right around the corner, and you know what that means – a busy time for 4-H! State Fair, South Mississippi Fair, Livestock Shows, Lego Builds, Robots, Fishing, and tons more activities for you to be involved in.

We are super thrilled to welcome a new face to our office. Mrs. Shannon Driver is joining our Extension Staff as our office associate. Shannon is probably not a new face to many of you as she has been a school secretary with Quitman Schools for over 20 years. We are so excited to have her join us in the Extension Office and know she will be a huge asset to us. Feel free to call or stop by and welcome her to our family.

South MS Fair Arts and Crafts

Do you have arts and crafts that you have made this past year? Have you done any canning? Have you taken any photographs you are extra proud of? Have you painted any pictures? Did you know your arts and crafts may be worth premium money? 4-H youth can enter their arts and crafts in the South MS Fair for the opportunity to earn premium money.
