The 2025 General Pest Management Workshop will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at the Central Mississippi Research and Extension Center in Raymond, MS. Topics on pesticide safety and regulation, disease management, insect management, and weed control will be included in the program. Please linked agenda below for specific topics to be presented. The program will begin at 8:45 AM and will end at 4:00 PM. Registration will begin at 8:00 AM. Lunch will be provided.

Registration and payment of the $25.00 regular registration fee by Wednesday, March 12, 2025, is required to reserve a spot in this workshop. After March 12, 2025, anyone interested in attending the workshop must contact Dr. Rebecca A. Melanson (contact information below) at the Central Mississippi Research and Extension Center to determine availability of space. Registration may be completed by sending in the attached registration form with your registration fee. Checks must be made payable to “Mississippi State University” and received by March 12, 2025. Please include “Pest Management Workshop” on the check and mail it and your registration form to the address below.

The 2025 General Pest Management Workshop has been approved by the Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce Bureau of Plant Industry (MDAC BPI) for consultant license renewal for categories A, B, G, I, K, L, M, N, and O (see back of page) and for commercial recertification for categories IA, II, III, V, VI, VII(C), and X (see below). Only certificates expiring within 12 months with be reissued.
