Lee County Master Gardeners are hosting a Fall Garden Day at the NMREC in Verona on Oct. 5th from 9 AM-1 PM. 

Keynote speakers are: 

• *Dr. Eddie Smith, MSU Extension/Southern Gardening- 9:30 AM-"Landscaping with Wildflowers"  
• *Dr. Chris Cooper (Univ. of TN/Memphis Extension and host of PBS's The Family Plot: Gardening in the Mid-South) 10:45 AM-"Let's Do It for the Pollinators"
• *Dr. Eddie Smith 12 noon-"Insect Pests of Ornamentals"

There will also be a garden tour and short programs in the Magnolia Botanical Garden; a plant sale and other garden-related items for sale; a Scarecrow Trail plus other children's activities.  Lunch and beverages available for purchase, so bring the family and enjoy this fun day!
