The 2024 General Pest Management Workshop will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at the Central Mississippi Research & Extension Center in Raymond, MS. Topics on pesticide safety and regulation, disease management, insect management, and weed control will be included in the program. Please see the attached agenda for specific topics to be presented. The program will begin at 8:45 AM and will end at 4:00 PM. Registration will begin at 8:00 AM. Lunch will be provided.

Registration and payment of the $25.00 regular registration fee by Friday, March 15, 2024, is required in order to reserve a spot in this workshop. After March 15, 2024, anyone interested in attending the workshop must contact Dr. Rebecca A. Melanson at the Central Mississippi Research & Extension Center to determine availability of space. Registration may be completed by sending in the attached registration form with your registration fee. Checks must be made payable to “Mississippi State University” and received by March 15, 2024. Please include “Pest Management Workshop” on the check and mail it and your registration form to the address below.

The 2024 General Pest Management Workshop has been approved by the Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce Bureau of Plant Industry (MDAC BPI) for consultant license renewal for categories F, I, J, M, N, and O (see below); for commercial recertification for categories III, VII(3), and X (see below); and for professional services licensing HCPL and HCWL. Only certificates expiring within 12 months with be reissued.
