I love coming to the Mississippi State University campus and seeing all the colorful plantings everywhere you look.
The Hunter Henry Alumni Center adds a unique look to the MSU campus and you can be sure that the landscape plantings are just as gorgeous.
The Mississippi State University campus has lots of interesting architecture and popular locations, like the Drill Field behind me. And the landscape is always going include beautiful and colorful plantings.
I look forward every winter to those landscape plants that are beautifully decorated with their brilliant red berries
I’ve always said that you can get some of the biggest landscape impact using bright foliage. As we race into the autumn season, I highly recommend getting a couple of colorful croton plants.
Just like every gardener in the south the crew of Southern Gardening also has to deal with the rain. So what do I do when I can’t get in the garden, I think about the plants I could be planting.
We’re in the fall season and it’s time for a great colorful duo of plants. Today Southern Gardening is at Pine Hills Nursery enjoying the colorful fall mums and marigolds, also called mari-mums.

One of my favorite flowering landscape plants has to be lantana and these Luscious lantana are looking pretty darn good after a long, hot summer.
