Poinsettias are popular holiday plants known for their colorful bracts that surround the small, yellow flowers in the center. Let me share some tips on how to care for them after the holiday season.

Our southern fall and winter landscapes are beautifully enhanced by the stunning blooms of sasanqua camellias, gracing us with their flowers from October through December.

Chrysanthemums, or mums, are a classic choice for fall decorations, offering vibrant colors that make them perfect for the season.

We are fortunate to have the opportunity to garden in the south, where we can grow a variety of cool-season vegetables throughout the fall, winter, and spring months.

Today Southern Gardening is at Rosie’s Garden in Brandon, MS where volunteers can develop an appreciation of how food is grown and help to provide fresh produce for those in need.
