The 4-H Volunteer Conference is open to 4-H volunteers (and paid staff) from across the world. Hosted by the 4-H Volunteers Conference of Southern States, a team of 4-H volunteers and staff plan the event each year. The conference is hosted onsite at Rock Eagle 4-H Center has virtual components, including a library of recorded content.
Registration for 2026 opens this summer
The Volunteer Conference of Southern States (VCOSS) focuses on adult learning opportunities for 4-H Volunteer Leaders and is open to all adults working with 4-H youth. It is located at the majestic Rock Eagle 4-H Center in Eatonton, Georgia.
The 2026 conference is excited to offer a hybrid program with both activities onsite at Rock Eagle 4-H Center in Eatonton, Georgia and virtual options available online October 1-4, 2026
Participants rave about the chance to network with other volunteers as the best part of a volunteer conference. In addition to workshops and meals, each evening is an activity that get participants mixing and talking. There is is a little something for everyone at the conference.
