Mississippi 4-H Volunteer Leaders' Association - MVLA

Fall Forums

The Mississippi 4-H Volunteer Leaders’ Association (MVLA) sponsors two Fall Forums each year – one in North Mississippi and one in South Mississippi. All 4-H volunteers are welcome to attend one or both of the Forums that are normally held in August each year. Dates and locations will be announced at a future time.

These forums offer great opportunities for adults to receive quality training to enhance their involvement in 4-H. This year’s theme is “Ask Me About MVLA” and this is our biggest promotional year yet.

The forums normally start at 9:30 a.m. and end at approximately 3:30 p.m. The forums feature educational workshops and provide an opportunity for Volunteers to network and fellowship with other Volunteers and Extension personnel.

The forums are for adults only and this is a great opportunity to recruit adult volunteers to the 4-H program. You do not have to be enrolled as a registered volunteer prior to the volunteer forums. Volunteers receiving their years of service pins are also recognized at the forums during lunch.

Check the MVLA Facebook page for more information about the Fall Forums and other MVLA activities.

See your County Extension Office to register.
