Construct a "Garment" for the Contest
This level will include any of the construction skills listed in Level 3, plus any other skills the contestant selects for the garment.
- Lined dress, lined suit, lined coat
- Garment made from a specialty fabric (sequins, satins, brocades, tapestry, velvet, etc.)
Learn these Skills for the Contest
- Skills from levels 1, 2, and 3.
- Judge a class of four samples (zipper, sleeve, collar, cuff, button and buttonhole, hook and eye) and give oral reasons.
- Select a pattern for a given figure type and choose fabric, interfacing, notions.
