Participants will accomplish the following:
Knowledge: Describe potentially negative effects of weatherization activities.
Comprehension: Identify potential hazards related to air-sealing and insulation and the impact they may have on radon, carbon monoxide, lead, asbestos, mold and moisture, and other indoor air-quality issues.
Application: List actions that can be taken to protect against potential negative health consequences of weatherization activities (for example, seal areas with air leakage, place insulation, maintain heating and cooling equipment, seal duct work, and make efficient lighting choices).
