This program provides training to help agents deliver hands-on floral design workshops for adults or youth, building appreciation for locally grown flowers, floral design, and sustainable floral materials and techniques.
Target Audience(s):
Adults and youth, including 4-H
Objectives:
Participants will:
- Gain an appreciation for flowers,
- Appreciate the compostability of floral designs,
- Understand basic floral care and handling,
- Understand and create the technical foundations for floral designs, and
- Gain awareness of MSU Extension floral programs.
Total Number of Modules or Sessions: 4
Total Number of Hours for Program Delivery: 5-6
