4-H Day at the Fair
4-H’ers participate in a range of culinary and nutritional activities
Cooking competitions at 4-H Day at the Fair included beef, pork, poultry, and omelet contests that allowed Mississippi 4-H'ers to show off the essential skill of cooking. By developing their culinary skills and nutritional knowledge, these 4-H’ers are also learning STEAM skills, short for science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. 4-H STEAM teaches children to explore what’s possible and how to respond to real-world challenges.
