Master Floral Designer, Phase II/Professional Florist Level II

8:00 AM - 4:00 PM daily

Open to Master Floral Designers-in-training who have completed MFD Phase I or PF Level I. This course continues floral design learning with hands-on practice. Participants will create all the basic floral designs at the MSU Coastal Research and Extension Center in Biloxi, Mississippi. This studio course will last for four consecutive days. During that time, each participant will learn how to create a bow, corsage, hand-tied bouquet, symmetrical and asymmetrical designs, topiary, and other floral arrangements. The fee includes all fresh and dried flowers, containers and supplies, tools, and lunches. Biloxi and nearby coastal towns have numerous hotels, casinos, and restaurants. This course is open only to those who have completed Phase I MFD instruction or Professional Florist Level I. Master Floral Designers may enroll for a refresher course.

Registration deadline February 24. Maximum 6 participants.
