Description
At Mississippi State University, we are committed to advancing the health and well-being across Mississippi. That’s why we are excited to introduce and strongly encourage your support for Walk Mississippi and Live Healthy ... One Step at a Time, a new, statewide initiative from MSU Extension.
This innovative program challenges individuals and teams to virtually walk across our great state Oct. 11–Nov. 21—180 miles over six weeks, or about 8,000 steps per day—through daily movement, healthy eating habits and community involvement. Whether you're walking, gardening, dancing or playing a sport, every move counts!
Participation is free, and the benefits are numerous: improved health, stronger connections and weekly resources to keep you on track. We invite the MSU community and Mississippi citizens to get involved, take that first step and show what it means to live healthy one step at a time.
Registration is open so don’t wait; join us and stay healthy one step at a time. To learn more, visit the Walk Mississippi website or email walkms@ext.msstate.edu.
