Advanced Master Floral Designer, Phase II

8:00 AM - 4:00 PM daily

Open only to Master Floral Designer certificate holders who have completed Advanced MFD Phase I, this course builds upon your study of contemporary and traditional theories in American, European, and Asian floral design with hands-on practice. Participants will meet four consecutive days at the MSU Coastal Floral Studio, Biloxi. We will develop our practice of foundational designs (centerpiece, flowers to wear, flowers to carry) and delve into memorial and event designs. We will progress to designs reflecting the theories of the East and West (decorative, formalinear, vegetative; moribana, nageire, rikka) exploring sustainable design along the way. Bring your tools.

Registration deadline September 23. Minimum 2, maximum 6 students.
