Top Tips for Hunting Wild Hogs

Vidoe by Michaela Parker

Wild pigs must be trapped year-round, and the close of white-tailed deer season is the perfect time to begin planning your wild pig battle plan.

These non-native nuisance animals cause more than $66 million in damage each year in Mississippi. They damage property, prey on native animals, and carry numerous diseases.

While it’s tempting to believe wild pigs can be controlled with hunting alone, their ability to reproduce quickly requires trapping for more effective population reduction.

To learn more about the threat of wild pigs and how to construct a corral trap, visit the Wild Pig Info website.
