Harvest of the Month: Blueberries

Blueberries

Fresh blueberries are a classic summer treat! I especially love grabbing a bag of fresh blueberries from my local farmer’s market.

Blueberries are nice to have on hand because they can be eaten in a variety of different dishes, including baked goods, desserts, salads, and even smoothies––that is, if they make it home before being eaten!

They are rich in vitamins and minerals, especially vitamin C, potassium, and folate. You’ll also get a great dose of fiber, which may reduce the risk of heart disease.

We’ve compiled a variety of recipes to try this summer with blueberries! Who knows, maybe one of these recipes will become a staple in your meal routine!
