Nursery Safety Videos

Commercial nursery workers constantly face safety challenges. These safety challenges can often be categorized into the three “E’s” of nursery worker safety: Ergonomics, Environment, and Equipment.

  • Ergonomic threats include things like repetitive motion, injuries to the hands and wrists, and back injuries due to improper lifting techniques.
  • Environmental threats include loud noises that may cause long-term hearing damage and exposure to chemicals that may be harmful to your eyes and body.
  • Commercial nurseries require the use of many pieces of large and small equipment. Failure to safely use this equipment could cause injury to the worker.
