Learning Opportunity - MSU Turf Research/Extension Field Day (8-15-11)
A Learning Opportunity
The MSU Turf Research Field Day will be held Tuesday August 23rd. at the R.R. Foil Plant Science Research Center (North Farm) just east of the main campus off Hwy. 182.
In addition to guided discussions of ongoing turfgrass research, there will be industry booths exhibiting turf equipment, fertilizers, chemicals, irrigation supplies, etc. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in various mini workshops such as sprayer calibration, turf, weed and disease identification and their management
The field day is open to anyone with an interest in turf management including golf course superintendents, sports turf managers, sod producers, lawn care operators and homeowners.
Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. with turf research plot tours beginning at 9:00. Pre-registration through August 22 is $20.00 with andsite registration is $25.00. Pre-registration includes lunch, a logo T-shirt, and all activities.
