Join Mississippi State University turfgrass faculty, staff, and students for a field day highlighting current research, demonstrations, and practical updates for turfgrass managers. Attendees will see ongoing work in weed control, cultivar evaluation, pest management, and best management practices.
The Mississippi State Turfgrass Research Field Day brings together Extension agents, turf and landscape professionals, golf and sports field managers, students, and allied industry partners for a day of applied learning at the R.R. Foil Plant Science Research Facility in Starkville. The program includes morning research presentations and demonstrations, a vendor tradeshow, lunch, and afternoon pesticide applicator/CEU training. Topics include weed control, turfgrass best practices, reduced-input grass breeding, pesticide safety, and insect pest management, with CEUs applied for across multiple states and professional organizations.
