Private Applicator Training - Franklin County

Description

Mississippi State University Extension conducts training courses for individuals wishing to obtain private pesticide applicator certification.

A private pesticide applicator is a certified applicator who uses or supervises the use of restricted-use pesticides to produce an agricultural commodity on his or her own land, leased land, or rented land or on the lands of his or her employer. Private applicators must be at least 18 years old.

The Franklin County Extension Office will hold a Private Pesticide Applicator Training on Monday, July 20, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. There is a $60 registration fee that will cover training, testing, and lunch payable by CHECK ONLY. The registration fee must be paid by the registration deadline of Thursday, July 16th at 5:00 PM!
