Outdoor Business Workshop for Landowners

A registration fee of $10 per person or $15 a couple must be included with your registration. Make checks payable to Mississippi State University. Lunch will be provided.

Registration must be received by Monday, February 17, 2020. You must register to attend.

Registration begins at 8:30am and the program begins at 9:00am. Lunch will be provided. The program will wrap up at 3 pm.

Morning presentations will allow you ask questions and talk to legal experts, wildlife habitat specialists, marketing specialists, and more.

Learn about different outdoor businesses

Not sure what business might be right for you? We’ll talk about the various types of outdoor businesses, including the pros and cons and income potential of each. Examples include outdoor recreation businesses such as hunting leases and agritourism and businesses based on harvesting the resources on your land (i.e. Christmas tree farms and u-pick farms).

From MS-25 South:
Turn left onto MS-25 South.
In 24.9 miles merge onto MS-15 S/MS-25 S via the ramp
towards Louisville/Jackson.
In 3.4 miles Take the MS-15 S exit towards Philadelphia.
Continue for 21.9 miles.
The Neshoba County Coliseum will be on the left.
Follow signs for the "Multipurpose Room"
