Wedding Design Floral Workshop

Tuesday, January 14, 2020 - 9:00am - Thursday, January 16, 2020 - 4:00pm

Coastal Research & Extension Center
1815 Popps Ferry Rd
Biloxi, Mississippi 39532

Learn the ins and outs of selling, handling and designing wedding flowers. Participants will discover how to sell wedding flowers, creating the “win/win” with clients. We will cover floral care and handling materials and techniques that make flowers last. Learn how to correctly execute hand-tied bouquets, save time with adhesive-mechanic corsages and boutonnieres, be creative with centerpieces and design a spectacular altar arrangement. This class is outlined for those with very little, if any, professional wedding floral experience and those who aspire to sell wedding flowers at a profit. My approach is practical and emphasizes labor-saving techniques for the busy business-owner. Flower farmers are especially encouraged to attend. Bring cut flower knife, wire cutters, ribbon shears, pruners. Lunches included; please let us know if you have dietary restrictions or special considerations.

 From previous Wedding Workshop participants:

Limit 7 participants. Registration closes 3 weeks prior to class start date. $450 per person
