Mississippi Well Owner Network Workshop - Panola County

Residents of Panola, Tallahatchie, Sunflower, Bolivar, Leflore, Quitman, and Coahoma Counties will receive a free private well-water screening for lead, pH, and bacteria.


Water Sample Drop Off

(NOTE: If you plan to attend the workshop, you may drop off your sample then.)

Well owners can pick up a water sampling kit and instructions October 2–6 and October 9 at the MSU Extension office in Panola County or in one of the other six participating counties by request.



*Samples must be taken no more than 24 hours before they are dropped off at the Extension office in Panola County on October 10 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Results will be mailed to participants, along with a publication explaining how to interpret the results. 

The workshop is open to all well owners. Attendance is not required to participate in the water testing.
