The Food Factor: Fire & Ice Watermelon Salad

Fire and Ice Watermelon Salad still
Video by Jonathan Parrish
Every once in a while, I get the urge to try a recipe that is totally different from anything I’ve ever tasted. Fire & Ice Watermelon Salad uses sweet, cubed watermelon, but adds savory flavors and fresh mint for a unique and refreshing salad.
If you are one of those people who adds salt to your cantaloupe or watermelon, this is for you! The combination of flavors may make picky eaters raise their eyebrows, but I challenge our adventurous eaters to give this one a chance.
