Do you own a small acreage farm? Do you sell services or products on site? If so, attracting customers to your location is a must. One way to make your business easier to locate is to have a colorful flower garden. You can use easily cultured annuals to create a traffic-stopping “sign” for the business. By choosing annuals that can be direct-seeded and have a long bloom period, you can maximize effect and minimize cost and hassle.

If your business offers cut flowers, the planting can advertise the selections of cut flowers you sell. Depending on the size of the planting, you could cut flowers from the display garden to decorate the business. In fact, cutting the flowers regularly would encourage more blooms.
