Forage 2017 Planning Budgets

This publication provides economic and technical information in the form of enterprise budgets for forage crops produced by Mississippi farmers. A multidisciplinary approach involving researchers and Extension personnel was used to determine production practices and input quantities, and to estimate costs and returns for each enterprise (14). The purpose of this section is to present the methods and procedures used to calculate costs and returns for each budget included in this publication.
