4-H Visual Presentation Score Sheet For 10 and 11 year olds
A visual presentation is a teaching method used by 4-H’ers to communicate ideas with the assistance of visual aids, such as posters, charts, flash cards, models, photographs, or actual objects. A visual presentation includes demonstrations and illustrated talks.
The visual presentation contest, like all 4-H activities, emphasizes youth development through a learn-by-doing experience. 4-H’ers learn to research a subject, arrange their findings to teach an idea in a logical manner, and prepare and use visual aids in teaching. 4-H members gain confidence by speaking before a group and self-discipline as they compete with themselves to reach the standard outlined on the visual presentation score sheet.
