Cooking Matters

Cooking Matters hands-on courses will empower families with the skills to be self-sufficient in the kitchen. This program is limited to parents and caregivers of children ages 0 – 5. Participants will learn how to stretch their food budgets, prepare healthy meals, and fundamental food preparation skills, including proper knife techniques, how to read ingredient labels, how to use different forms of fruits and vegetables, and how to prepare a healthy meal for a family of four on a ten dollar budget.
