2018 4-H Legislative Day

Mississippi State University Extension Service 4-H’ers met with elected of­ficials during their trip to the Mississippi State Capitol for Legislative Day 2018. The 4-H Leadership Team met with House Speaker Philip Gunn, Lieutenant Governor Tate Reeves, Mississippi Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce Cindy Hyde-Smith (now a U.S. Senator), and other of­ficials representative of all regions of the state. Mississippi AT&T sponsored both the Legislative Appreciation Luncheon and several scholarships recognizing outstanding Mississippi 4-H Clubs and their members.
