Producers, crop consultants, agricultural industry representatives and the general public will learn about ongoing Mississippi State University row crop research and outreach efforts at a field day Aug. 17th, 2022.

The MSU Extension Service and Mississippi Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station will host the event at the North Mississippi Research and Extension Center, located at 5421 MS-145, Verona, MS 38879.

Topics to be covered at the field day include corn, cotton, and soybean production, cover cropping systems, planting technologies, soil fertility, plant health, and variety selection.

Attendees will participate in a guided tour of the station’s numerous row crop and agronomic research projects. On-site registration begins at 8:30 a.m., and tour begins around 9:00 a.m.
