Produce Safety Alliance Grower Training & GAP's Course - Zoom
This online virtual course is for growers, packers, Extension agents, educators, industry suppliers and others interested in learning the requirements of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Produce Safety Rule and certification. You must receive your manual by mail before you take the course.
You will be sent an email with the Zoom link before the course. You must receive your PSA manual by mail before you take the course.
Requirements for a virtual course:
To be eligible for the PSA/AFDO Certificate of Course Completion, participants must be present for all PSA course modules. A monitor/trainer will ensure the participant is always present during the course. Participants must have video & audio capability with Zoom (instructions will be given once you register). If you do not have good internet, you can contact your Extension office or Joy (662-769-9812) to help you get set up at an Extension Office near you.
Costs to Attend:
The participants will receive the course materials and other information as a result of attending and participating in the complete course. This is estimated value at over $250 per person. There is no cost to attend the course for MS residents and government employees (FDA, MDAC, MSU Extension Agents). Out of State participants $125.
