This course is designed for non-industrial forest landowners that would like to learn the Basics of Upland Hardwood Management. The course will cover the following topics: Species/Site relaonships, How to Identify and Possible Steps to take with Degraded Upland Hardwood Stands, Decision Model for Upland Hardwoods, Making for Prescripons based on Stocking, Wildlife and Upland Forests, Upland Hardwood Markets, Setting up.
Registraon is $30 per person, $50 per couple. This fee covers materials and refreshments, including lunch on November 5th. Space will be limited, thus registraon must be received by October 31, 2018. Checks should be made payable to the Alcorn Co. Forestry Associaon.
