While Mississippi farmers and foresters face many challenges, wild hogs cause particularly extensive damage to the agricultural landscape. Currently, the national economic impact of wild hog control and damage on public and private property is conservatively estimated at $1.6 billion annually.
Come join us at the “Wild Pig Management Workshop” to be held at the Monroe County Extension Office in Aberdeen, Mississippi. This workshop is specifically for local landowners and farmers that want to learn how to properly control and manage their wild pig problems.
This workshop will meet at the Monroe County Extension Office on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 5:15 PM registration. We have Steve Tucker, Wildlife/Wild Pig Specialist coming to present most of the program. Please call to confirm your attendance, and there is no fee. So call (662-369-4951 or 662-369-8683) to register by April 20th.
