Pine Thinning Workshop - 2nd Thinning
Pine trees need periodic thinning to identify high value crop trees, increase their growth rates, maintain the overall health of the tract, and generate revenue for the landowner in the process. This workshop covers all aspects of conducting a second thinning.
Cost: $20 for materials and lunch.

The morning session will be outdoors on County Road 1137: (From Hwy 15 S turn onto Hwy 21S. Stay straight on 488. Travel approximately 9 miles and turn left onto Road 339. Turn right onto Road 1137 and follow the signs).
Lunch and afternoon program will be at the MS Band of Choctaw Indians Ag & Natural Resources Bldg, 116 Black Jack Rd, Choctaw, MS 39350 (call for directions).
