Upland Hardwoods Management and Regeneration Short Course - Corinth

This course is designed to be the initial upland hardwood short course with additional courses each year that will examine other aspects of upland hardwood management. The concepts preented at this course are designed to assist and guide the regeneration of high valued oak stands on upland sites. Topics covered will include:

  • Decision Model for Upland Hardwoods
  • Species/Site Relationships
  • Approach to Degraded Stands
  • Regeneration Systems
  • Wildlife Components, and Sustainability of oaks on upland sites

Registration is $40 per person, $70 per couple. This fee covers materials and refreshments, including lunch on September 19th. Space will be limited, thus registration must be received by September 1, 2017. Checks should be made payable to the Alcorn County Forestry Association.
